Beautiful falls to visit. It's a hidden treasure. The surrounding area was not the safest and very little parking but great for a quick stop and some pictures.
A hidden gem in New Jersey that nobody really knows exists. It's not on the best side of town but during the day it's a pleasant walk with a beautiful view. It's the second tallest waterfall in the United States. If you have a long wait at Newark Airport you should find your way over there and get it off your bucket list. You won't regret it.
Best kept secret in North NJ! Gorgeous falls. Parking can be a little challenging if the area is busy, but the information center is very helpful and the falls are close by, easy to walk over.
Was nice to see a waterfall. There's a cute photo op photo frame that's been placed on a hill overlooking the falls where you can get a pic inside a photo frame with the waterfall behind you. That's neat but there's a tree that almost blocks the waterfall that needs to be trimmed a bit. You can walk down to a grass picnic area closer to the water. There's a chain link fence in your view of the falls but it's there for safety and wasn't bothersome since you can see through it. I was able to get a photo through the fence without the fence being in it so it still works to view and take pics.
Parts are still in process but plans for the area look amazing. A stunning natural landmark meet industrial architecture meet historical curiosities. The national park folks were knowledgeable about the history and the plans and eager to help.
